Sports Movies highlighted at Tribeca Film Festival-We Are Marshall grabs top Football Flick
April 29, 2008 3:14 amFor the second year in a row, sports movies are getting their due at the Tribeca/ESPN Film Festival in New York. Twelve movies are featured at the festival, including Kicking It, which was featured at Sundance this year and scored a movie deal with ESPN before it was even shown.
Tribeca/ESPN also runs a fan contest to pick their favorite football movie of all time and We Are Marshall took the crown in a competition with 16 other movies. Movies are seeded and go head to head until a winner is determined by fan voting. Full Results
