Documentary being filmed on Cubs to mark 100th year since Series win
March 14, 2008 11:28 amDirector/Producer John Scheinfield has begun filming a documentary on the Chicago Cubs' 2008 season, which marks the 100th year since the team has won the World Series.
Scheinfield is a Chicago area native and says the film will be about "the love affair between a great city and its team," according to a recent article in the Chicago Tribune. The film will inlcude interview of Cubs Manager Lou Pinella and current players, along with Hollywood types that follow the team.
Scheinfield hopes to show the film at Sundance next year and then release the film in spring or summer of 2009
